Lower Seti River is one of the best and most gorgeous family rafting circuits in Nepal. The Seti River is one of the most beautiful and pristine rivers in the Himalayas. This unique river passes through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas offering a good variety of Nepal’s landscapes with local villages, terraced rice fields, waterfalls, suspension bridges, jungle rich with wildlife and a beautiful white sandy beach for camping under the stars. The Lower Seti, with fairly small water volume and relatively pleasant warm water temperature, is a great introduction to white-water adventure, perfect for families, first timers, nature lovers or those interested in learning river kayaking. This rafting usually starts from Damauli on the way between Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway. The wilderness on the way of rafting presents its own reward with natural sightings right along the river. There are much more scenery for exploration, photography, feathered bird watching and has the chance to swim, relax on the sandy beach. The two-day venture covers a distance of 32 km ending at the confluence of the Trishuli and Seti River, one of the warmest rivers of Nepal. Rafters encounter several rapids before reaching Trishuli River and Devghat.
