Trip Overview

Annapurna base camp by helicopter is the fastest way to reach the Annapurna base camp and enjoy the mountain in all its glory. On our helicopter tour we admire magnificent views of Machhapuchchhre (Mt. Fishtail), Annapurna I and II and Dhaulagiri mountains and reach the base camp of Mt. Annapurna. You will fly over different forest, villages, rivers, cultivated terrains and of course the trekking trail to reach Annapurna base camp (4130m). It is the best way to those mountain lovers who don’t have enough time and for those who can’t go for trek. You will fly high above picturesque Pokhara valley and its nice city, blessed with natural beauty located on the laps of massive Annapurna ranges and ever present majestic Mt. Machhapuchchhre ‘Fish Tail’. You will see Mt. Annapurna l (8191m), Annapurna lll (7555m), Mt. Himchuli (6441m), Mt. Machhapuchchhre(6997m) also known as Mt. Fishtail and other peak by helicopters and also from the base camp. This Helicopter tour start and end at Pokhara airport. You will have 20 to 30 min in base camp for tea, coffee/ breakfast with of course the magnificent panoramic view of mountains.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Fly from Pokhara airport to Annapurna base camp

We start the tour from scenic Pokhara leaving respective hotels early morning by 6 a.m. or 7 a.m (depending upon the season) to Pokhara airport for sweeping panoramic Heli flight with spacious and comfortable seats, with rooms for 3-5 people. This tour offers best views of surrounding dramatic landscapes and mountains. You will witness the aerial view of Pokhara valley, flowing rivers, dense forest and panoramic view of mountain range. We then enter into beautiful and picturesque Annapurna Sanctuary and land at base camp.

Day 2: Land at Annapurna base camp and have free time for 20 to 30 minutes

After landing at Annapurna base camp, we spend around 20 to 30 minutes here enjoying tea/coffee, visiting nearby places, taking pictures and of course enjoying the brilliant mountain panorama. Holding on longer could be a seriously high-altitude threat.

Day 3: Back to Pokhara airport.

We end our amazing Day Tour of Annapurna Base Camp in Helicopter by flying back to Pokhara. The beautiful landscape of the Annapurna region does not disappoint when seen from a bird ‘eye perspective. The panoramic view of the entire terrain presents itself like a beguiling portrait. After landing at Pokhara you can enjoy the afternoon view of Pokhara City and Fewa lake.
